Install Reddy with the terminal

Use Reddy from any terminal, or from any assistant that can run commands.

The Reddy CLI package isn't published yet

These steps use the CLI from npm, which isn't released yet. Until it is, run Reddy from a local build of this repository (see the docs), or set REDDY_CLI_COMMAND on the server to show a working command here.

  1. Run the installer

    It asks where you'd like to use Reddy (Claude Code, Cursor, the terminal, or several), shows the plan, and does the rest.

    $ npx -y <your-npm-scope>/cli@0.1.0 install --server https://app.getreddy.dev

  2. Register your project

    In your app's folder:

    $ npx -y <your-npm-scope>/cli@0.1.0 init

    Reddy reads your dependencies and variable names (never their values), then gives you one link to connect everything.

  3. Bring the configuration into your app

    $ npx -y <your-npm-scope>/cli@0.1.0 sync
