Connect Reddy to other AI tools

Connect Reddy through MCP to Windsurf, VS Code and other tools that support it.

The Reddy CLI package isn't published yet

These steps use the CLI from npm, which isn't released yet. Until it is, run Reddy from a local build of this repository (see the docs), or set REDDY_CLI_COMMAND on the server to show a working command here.

  1. Add Reddy's MCP server to your tool

    Reddy can't configure other tools for you yet, so add this server in your tool's MCP settings. Check its documentation for where that lives.

  2. Sign in from your tool

    “Check my Reddy status and sign me in if needed.”

  3. Connect your services

    If your tool can't run terminal commands, Reddy still guides setup and verifies providers, but you bring configuration into the project yourself with reddy sync.
