Install Reddy for Claude Code

Connect Reddy to Claude Code and let it handle your app's setup.

The Reddy CLI package isn't published yet

These steps use the CLI from npm, which isn't released yet. Until it is, run Reddy from a local build of this repository (see the docs), or set REDDY_CLI_COMMAND on the server to show a working command here.
  1. Ask Claude Code to install Reddy

    Paste this into Claude Code. It shows you exactly what will change and asks before doing anything.

    “Install Reddy for me by running `npx -y <your-npm-scope>/cli@0.1.0 install --tool claude-code --json --server https://app.getreddy.dev`. Show me the plan, and only re-run it with --yes after I agree.”

    Prefer to do it yourself? Run this in a terminal:

    $ npx -y <your-npm-scope>/cli@0.1.0 install --tool claude-code --server https://app.getreddy.dev
  2. Approve Reddy in your browser

    The installer opens a short code to confirm. One approval connects Claude Code to your Reddy account.

  3. Restart Claude Code and start building

    Reddy is available in every project. Try asking:

    “Use Reddy to connect the services this app needs.”

Advanced installation options
